Eating and drinking around the Paje Beach Guest House
Where can you go for food and drinks, in Paje Village?
Since the Paje Beach Guest House does not have a restaurant or a bar, you will have to satisfy your appetite outside the gates of the compound. On the right hand side we have made a short list of suggestions which are all in the neighborhood, and where the food is really good. Ranging from pizza to local fish and curry dishes to sushi and thai food. Paje has it all. Prices for a three course dinner start at about 10 euros and go to about 25 euro, if you’re into lobster! Breakfast will put you back about 4 to 5 euro’s, and if you want to enjoy the all out breakfast menu you’ll be charged about 8 euros.
If you’re more of an adventurer or really on a tight budget, you will find some food stalls just down the main road, less than three minutes walking from the guest house. There you will find fries, meat skewers, local chapati pancakes, fresh salad and the likes. Near the main T junction you will find a shop called Supa Duka, selling a wide selection of wines and foods. Contrary to all the signs, they do not accept credit cards.
