Welcome to the official website of the Paje Beach Guest House. We are situated on the east coast of the island, just 1 hour from Stone Town.

The Guesthouse is located on the South-East coast of Unguja, the main island of Zanzibar. The guesthouse is only a three minute walk from the white sandy beach, lined with the finest collection of palm trees on the island. You can walk for miles and get lost in time whilst enjoying the ‘Bounty Feeling’ of this picturesque island.

We have four types of rooms: basic, standard, luxury rooms and an apartment, all at very affordable rates. The rooms are clean and spacious and all have working ceiling fans inside the mozzie nets, electricity sockets with US/UK/EUROPE adapters and a private bathroom with hot water and ample water pressure. The rooms are decorated with African art, the curtains are made from the traditional clothing of one of the garments of the Zanzibari man – the ‘Kikooi’ – hanging on a rod made from coconut wood.

Of course activities like kitesurfing, diving, star gazing, SUP surfing, wave riding, beach sailing, deep sea fishing and many, many more are just a few minutes away. And if you’re more into night life, there are about 10 bars and more than 20 restaurants within a 10 minute walk of the guest house.
